|
After attending primary and secondary horticultural school, Johan Martens (1962) attended the master florist's course in Vught. Through contacts he then became an arranger. At one time he owned a florist's shop and a garden centre, but nowadays he works full-time as a self-employed arranger and florist. "Creativity and business worries do not go well together", he explains. |

| Publications | Johan took part in the Dutch Championships in 1997 and 1998 (and reached the finals) and won second place at the 1998 international Tivoli Cup festival in Copenhagen. He has worked for "Vakbeurs Fleur" and the "Internationale Bloemen Vaktentoonstelling" and held workshops for Holland Flower Council in the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland. In his work he opts for versatility. He regularly decorates exhibitions, competitions and shops (the latter only if he has enough creative freedom) and gives demonstrations.
