Dutch Creations sponsored Interflora World Cup Floral Design championships in Shanghai.
The 2010 Interflora World Cup Floral Design event took place from 26th till March 28th in Shanghai (China). Dutch Creations sponsored the event and five people from the DC team traveled to Shanghai to assist in handling the flowers, assist in organizing and relaying live reports from the championship in form of digital news and newsletters.
After three exciting days of competition in Shanghai, Norwegian Stein Are Hansen emerged as the New World Floral Design Champion.
Dutch Creations People's Choice Award
The participating designers also fought out for the coveted Dutch Creations People's Choice Award. More than 5,100 visitors to our site cast their votes online for their favorite participant. Araik Galstayn from Armenia was the winner.
All these activities have sparked much interest on Dutch Creations’ varieties. A good number of national and international media organizations have sought our articles for use in magazines and websites and mentioned the names of the Schreurs varieties used. In the period between 23rd and 31st March, the Dutch Creations site attracted over 25,000 visitors who surfed through more than 100,000 pages at the DC site. In addition to this, as a result of the actions undertaken we have managed to gather over 5,000 new subscribers to our newsletters.
