Dutch Creations is deeply committed to providing the newest high quality varieties to all the designers taking part in the competition.

In addition to this, Dutch Creations, in partnership with the local organisation AFAB, aims to raise global awareness of the competition through live coverage and by organizing a digital platform where fans around the world can vote for their favourite contestants!

Dutch Creations

Dutch Creations is a cooperative of the leading Dutch flower and plant breeders (Anthura, Fides, v/d Bos Flowerbulbs, Corn Bak and Schreurs). It represents a wide assortment of floral products, such as roses, anthuriums, phalaenopsis, gerberas, chrysanthemums, bromeliads, and many more. Dutch Creations believes it is very important for top designers to be able to work with the newest and best quality flowers and plants.

Shared passion

The participating designers have already proven their excellent skills in their home countries and maybe even abroad, but their new challenge now is to be crowned Americas Cup champion 2011. Each candidate put a lot of effort into being one of the designers shortlisted for this competition. Their inspiration and passion for flowers and plants is shared by Dutch Creations.

Exposure via our newsletters, website and social media

For those interested in closely following the performances of the designers at the Americas Cup Competition, Dutch Creations, supported by AFAB, will be reporting live on the event. We have interviewed the contestants upfront about their preparations and have asked them to tell the story and idea behind each creation. We will provide live coverage on all the creations through daily newsletters, Dutch Creations’ website and social media. Besides this we are also organizing the ‘People’s Choice Award’.

Vote for your favourite designer

Anyone around the world is welcome to vote for their favourite designer! The People’s Choice Award will be given to the most popular designer chosen by visitors to the Dutch Creations website and Facebook page. The award is supported by AFAB and the voting process is conducted online where people can vote (only once per email address) for their favourite. The contestants will compete for this award during the first two days of the Americas Cup.
